Membership of the Society
The object of the Society shall be to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music in all its aspects by the presentation of public concerts, and by such other ways as the Society, through its Committee, shall determine from time to time. For example, the Society will each year endeavour to arrange a music workshop at a local school to encourage the appreciation of music amongst young people.
Membership of the Society shall be open to any person interested in furthering the objects of the Society and who has paid the annual subscription at the appropriate rate or rates as shall be determined by the Committee.
For the 2017-18 season you can either pay a full annual subscription of £68.00 which entitles you to admission to all SIX main concerts, or pay a reduced fee of £32.00 and then £8.00 for each concert attended. Non-members will pay £14.00 for each concert. Students in full-time education are admitted free.
Membership also entitles you to reduced admission rates to Members' Evenings.
